Whether it’s an apartment or a chalet or simply your residence away from home, Chamserve can provide Security checks for your residential or holiday rental property.

When it is not convenient for you or your neighbours to visit the property, we can carry out and record regular weekly or monthly security checks, whether it is for peace of mind or for insurance validation.

Our security check visits include a full external walk round which checks all external doors and windows are fastened and checks for any signs of damage. We are able to enter and collect mail, check your heating and check for signs of water leaks. Each visit will be logged with a date-stamped photo of your property which is emailed directly to you or to your managing agent.

Security checks for holiday and rental properties are considered necessary by the authorities during the current circumstances. That includes security checks for apartments, flats, chalets and homes/residences. We feel it is important to visit our managed properties weekly, or at least once every couple of weeks. We wish to extend this service to all owners who are worried about their properties during this time.

Prices for weekly checks with full reports start from just 15€ a week.

Covid 19 Epidemic: With the public under general lockdown, there are security issues including the risk of break ins, vandalism and even cases of squatters. It is especially important to review security for your holiday home during this period, as the streets are empty, and we can't rely on neighbours to keep an eye on our holiday homes, or the general public to act as a deterrent to theft and damage.

We are offering a special price for weekly checks, during April and May.  Please email or call for more information.  We can start straight away!

Our checklist will be completed each week, and you will be sent a confirmation along with a short note, and a picture of your property.

At your discretion we will also check internally for any signs of break in, ensuring windows and shutters are secure. Additionally we will confirm your heating, boiler, radiators are set correctly, and adjust your water feed, and check for leaks.

Security checks can also include:

  • Checking for damage to property from weather, roofs, shutters, fences, etc.
  • Ensuring shutters are closed, to stop damage.
  • Checking radiators are turned down or off, (stop freezing pipes or waste on utility).
  • Checking on your wood supply or fuel levels.
  • Checking alarm response, and carrying out our emergency call out service.
  • Checking the post and forwarding it onto you.
  • Turning over the car to keep the engine operational.

In addition to security checks we can also manage:
